Trade School Cardiff #3 "The Exchange"

Trade School Cardiff is running again this month (19th - 21st June) during Refugee Week Wales.

You can book classes at the following address http://tradeschool.coop/cardiff/class

We are collaborating with Oasis Cardiff and the Welsh Refugee Council classes will be run by refugees and people living in Cardiff. We have decided to not have a barter system this time but we are providing an opportunity to exchange experiences, culture, heritage and skills.

We would love if you could support this Trade School by attending classes and offering to teach. We are hoping to have a mix of practical skills and insights to living in Cardiff and Wales.

Oasis Cardiff have kindly provided us with a venue and we are talking with the refugee community about classes they can run. We’re excited about this new collaboration and can’t wait to see you there.

You can sign up for classes from Wednesday 12th June

To run a class - this is the way it works:
You decide what you can teach to other people (think about the things you love doing like drawing, cooking, gardening, computers, fixing bikes, telling stories - your class can be as serious or as fun as you like)
We can help you to plan and run your class.
You decide what you want in return. It could be socks, it could be DIY, it could be advice, whatever you need.
Register your class.

To attend a class:
Register for a class
Decide what you will exchange for the class.

If you are interested in getting involved or would like Trade School to come to your community, then get in touch!
